Triangle Auto Works is a mobile auto detailing, tint and maintenance business serving the Raleigh, NC area. This page explains what information this website collects, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- When you book: your name, phone number, email address (optional), the address where you want the service done, your vehicle's make, model and year (or its VIN), the services you chose, and any notes you add.
- When you create an account: your name, email address, phone number and password. Passwords are stored scrambled (hashed) — we can't read them. If you add a passkey, we store its public key, never anything secret from your device.
- When you leave a review: your rating and comments, shown on the site with your first name and last initial once approved.
- Automatically: your IP address, briefly, to stop abuse such as repeated password guessing.
How we use it
- To schedule and carry out the work you asked for, and to prepare the right parts and tools.
- To contact you about your booking by phone, text or email.
- To send account emails you trigger yourself: verification codes, password resets, booking confirmations.
- To show your order history when you're logged in.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Cookies
The site uses one cookie, which keeps you logged in and remembers where you are in a form. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept as part of our business records. Account information is kept until you ask us to delete your account. Verification codes and password reset links expire on their own within an hour.
Your choices
- Change your name, email, phone number or password any time under Account Settings.
- Ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by calling or texting the number below.
- You can book without an account, and without giving an email address.
Children
This site is for adults arranging service for a vehicle. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 17.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
